Celtic Transfer News:

Recently, there haven't been many summer transfer market rumors involving Celtic, but Tete's name has regularly come up in conversation.

Due to recent loan stints at Lyon and Leicester City, the Shakhtar Donetsk winger's contract with the Ukrainian team is coming to an end, and it is unlikely that he will play there again.

The fact that he was bought by Brendan Rodgers and that Celtic were searching for a talented winger to replace Jota makes that connection to Leicester crucial.

The Bhoys were reportedly one of the top candidates to attempt to recruit Tete as a result, according to Ukrainian media reports from last month.

Since then, the Brazilian has been mentioned frequently in connection with Celtic, but if the most recent story from Football Scotland is to be believed, all of it has been for naught.

Tete won't be moving to Glasgow this summer, according to journalist Mark Hendry, who has recently debunked a number of transfer rumors with accuracy. Tete is also not moving to Celtic, according to Hendry.

That forces Celtic to explore elsewhere for a Jota replacement, but no one has been mentioned as a potential replacement, and no incoming transfers appear to be forthcoming.

The club won't make any moves, according to Rodgers, until after Saturday's Scottish Premiership opener against Ross County at home.

Hyunjun Yang, who has already participated in preseason games, and Marco Tilio, who is recovering from an injury sustained prior to his arrival in Glasgow, have both been signed by Celtic. So that at least gives the broad areas some depth. But many supporters want the squad to make a noteworthy acquisition that can unquestionably replace the high level of performance Jota brought to the team.

Tete appears not to be one of Celtic's priorities, therefore for the time being, these rumors may be put on hold until we learn what those objectives are before the transfer window closes.

Celtic Football Club

Celtic Football Club, commonly known as Celtic FC or simply Celtic, is a professional football (soccer) club based in Glasgow, Scotland. Founded on November 6, 1887, by Brother Walfrid, a Marist Brother, Celtic is one of the oldest football clubs in Scotland and the world.

The club's home matches are played at Celtic Park, also known as Parkhead, which is located in the East End of Glasgow. Celtic's traditional colors are green and white, and their fans are famously known as the "Celtic supporters" or the "Bhoys."

Celtic FC has a rich history and a storied rivalry with another Glasgow-based club, Rangers FC, which together are known as the "Old Firm." The matches between Celtic and Rangers are some of the most intense and fiercely contested fixtures in world football, with a historical, religious, and social context behind the rivalry.

The club's success on the field has been remarkable, domestically and internationally. Celtic has won numerous Scottish league titles, Scottish Cups, and Scottish League Cups, making them the most successful club in Scottish football history. Additionally, Celtic famously won the European Cup (now UEFA Champions League) in 1967 under the management of Jock Stein, becoming the first British club to achieve this feat. This victory was dubbed the "Lisbon Lions" and is still celebrated by Celtic fans worldwide.

The club's anthem, "You'll Never Walk Alone," is sung passionately by the Celtic faithful during matches, further highlighting the strong sense of community and camaraderie among the supporters.

Celtic FC has a wide and dedicated fan base not just in Scotland but also across the globe, making it one of the most supported football clubs worldwide. The club's motto is "A club like no other," which reflects the unique culture and history associated with Celtic Football Club.
